Hello, I am Debojyoti Biswas Bishal. I am from Bangladesh and currently doing my PhD in Computer Science at Texas State University. I have completed my B.sc in Information & Communication Engineering from Noakhali Science & Technology University. I am proudly a graduate of first batch from this department. After completing my graduation at 2018, I have joined an University as a faculty member. I have joined at Department of CSE in Leading University, Sylhet. After working in this institute for 2 years and 7 months, I have started my journey of PhD. Currently I am working under the supervision of Dr. Jelena Tesic at Datalab12.

My research interest is focused on Machine Learning, Deep Learning and Computer Vision. I love to work with Unstructured data and explore meaningful relationship in the data.

Apart from being data science student, I am passionate competitive programmer. I love learn different kind of algorithms and apply them to solve real-life problems. I have solved more than thousands of problems from different online platforms and participated in many online contests. Among all the algorithms I worked with, I love graph theory algorithm most.

Hobbies and Activities

Beside of my all academic and research work, I love to engage in outdoor activates. I love to play Cricket & badminton very much. Also, I love hiking a lot and whenever I get some time out of work, I try to visit different places and learn different cultures.

Cooking is my hobby. I love to try different dishes and explore new tastes.
